Football-loving fans say, ‘The ball hit the back of the net!’ to describe a goal. This is grammatically incorrect; for if the ball hits the back of the net it is not a goal since it didn’t hit inside the net. Who cares about grammar; you get what they mean right? But it’s still an error. Our life goals are the same; the y are always in error. Why don’t you bring your goals before God; see what HE thinks about them?
